This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Editor (”the app”, “we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the app on Android or iOS. In short: your documents stay on your device, an account is optional, and we collect only the minimum information needed to provide account and Premium features. By using PDF Editor, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Documents & Your Privacy

Your documents

PDF Editor opens, edits, converts, and saves documents directly on your device. Files you import, scan, or create remain in the app’s private storage and are not uploaded to us or any third party.

Sharing & printing

A document leaves your device only when you choose to share or print it. From that point, the document is handled by the app, printer, or service you select according to that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

2. Account Information

Optional account

All document tools are available without an account. If you choose to create an account, we process only the information needed to provide account-related features.

Information we process

• Email address and password — used to sign you in and, when requested, send password-reset emails. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
• Account information — includes a user identifier, app version, device platform (Android or iOS), and account creation and last-used dates.
• Subscription information — if you purchase Premium, we process information about whether your subscription is active and when it renews or ends.

Your documents remain separate

Your account does not contain your documents, document names, or document contents.

3. How We Use Information

We use account information only to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Sign you in and help protect your account.
